Founding Story
Founded in 2005 by Patricia Woolsey, Patricia Krauss, Sally Kinka, Emilia O’Connor, and Nicolette Stearns, ArtStream began with a mission to bring performing arts opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs). The founders believed in the transformative power of the arts to foster confidence, self-expression, and community. Reflecting the founders’ vision, ArtStream continues to grow, offering innovative programs and performances that inspire connection and creativity.
