Marie Maurer
Bookkeeper
Marie Maurer brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and business operations within Independent Schools. A Maryland native, she earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and now brings her extensive expertise to ArtStream.
Marie was drawn to ArtStream’s mission through a personal connection—her nephew Eli has been a long-time participant in ArtStream’s programs, making the work especially meaningful to her.
Though her professional background is in finance, Marie has deep roots in theatre—particularly behind the scenes. She met her husband 35 years ago at the Warner Theatre, where he worked as a stagehand and she managed the box office and concessions. She is thrilled to be back in the world of theatre, combining her passions and skills in support of ArtStream’s inspiring work.
