Anne Elizabeth Hummer

Anne Elizabeth Hummer currently serves as the Associate Director of the Catholic Coalition for Special Education (CCSE) in Kensington, MD whose mission is to advocate for inclusive education in Catholic schools in Maryland focusing on the Archdioceses of Washington and Baltimore. Her career has focused on raising awareness and funding for national non-profit organizations. She believes in the critical difference that non-profit organizations make in solving world problems from climate change to feeding the hungry to fighting diseases and responding to global emergencies.

Prior to joining CCSE, Hummer was Senior Director, Corporate relations for the American College of Radiology where she directed the overall management of the $10 million ACR Foundation and Corporate Relations department. Anne has more than 25 years’ experience working for national non-profit organizations including serving as Executive Director of the Society for Conservation Biology. She also worked for the Center for Science in the Public Interest and World Wildlife Fund, the H. John Heinz Center for Science and Economics serving in various senior level positions including Vice President for Development and Institutional Outreach.
